Great East Music Festivals: Inspire Arts & Music
Great East Music Festivals, a company of Inspire Arts & Music, is seeking a reliable non- CDL, box truck driver to support our spring festival season by transporting and handling percussion instruments and choral risers. This is a seasonal, part-time position ideal for someone comfortable with physical work, early starts, and working around live event schedules.

- Instruments and equipment are stored in Canton, MA
- Festival venues are located in:
- Springfield, MA
- Methuen, MA
- Derry, NH
- Springfield, MA
Schedule & Availability Requirements
Applicants must be available on the following dates:

- Friday, May 8
- Thursday, May 14
- Friday, May 15
- Thursday, May 21
- Friday, May 22
- Saturday, May 23

- Monday, June 1

Festivals typically conclude around 3:00 PM, with return trips and unloading occurring the same afternoon.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport percussion instruments and choral risers from Canton, MA to festival venues
- Load and unload equipment at venues the day before each festival
- Remove instruments and equipment from festival sites after festivals conclude and return them to Canton, MA
- Secure all instruments and risers properly to prevent damage during transport
- Coordinate timing and access with festival staff and venue personnel
- Maintain organization of the truck and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving box trucks up to 26’
- Ability to lift and move heavy and bulky equipment
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
- Careful and respectful handling of musical instruments and staging equipment
- Familiarity with Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire travel routes is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Regular lifting, carrying, and maneuvering of heavy percussion instruments and risers
- Ability to load and unload equipment multiple times per day as needed
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
- Seasonal, event-based employment
