A letter from Inspire Arts & Music Chief Operating Officer, Chris Holland:

As the school year gets underway, we wanted to take a moment to reconnect with our Great East Music Festival participants. It’s no secret that 2023 brought challenges to the Great East Music Festivals and impacted our participants’ experience. We want to thank all of our ensemble directors, teachers, students, judges, and hosts for your patience and understanding as we navigated a challenging time in Great East’s history.

After the final festival concluded in June, the Great East team immediately set to work on a restored festival experience for 2024. Over the summer, we regrouped, strategized, and enacted a strategic plan to ensure festivals returned with a new approach and seamless experience for our teachers, students, and parents.

The first step includes the hiring of two full-time staff members to the Great East Music Festivals team! In an effort to create more bandwidth and ensure exceptional service from registration through performance, we are thrilled to introduce two experienced arts administrators and educators to the Inspire Arts & Music team. Please join us in welcoming our new Festival Co-Directors, Ansley Frachiseur and Alain Camous!

Meet Ansley Frachiseur:
Ansley Frachiseur is a 2019 graduate of the University of Alabama, where she earned her degree in Music Administration with a minor in General Business. She most recently served as Assistant Manager of Development Events for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, assisting with the administration of fundraising events for BSO, Tanglewood, and the Boston Pops. Previously, Ansley was the Individual Giving Manager for the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. Read Ansley’s full bio here.

Meet Alain Camous:
Alain Camous holds a BM in Music Education and a MBA from Florida International University’s College of Business. Alain’s journey began as a middle school teacher in the Broward County Public Schools and led him to excel as a Senior Trade Analyst at DB Schenker, a global transportation and logistics provider. Read Alain’s full bio here.

Over the coming months, Ansley and Alain will be reaching out with more information to ensure your students have the best festival experience possible. New systems and processes have been created to guarantee communication, timeliness, planning, and execution meet the highest standards. We want educators, administrators, students, and parents to know that their experience is our mission. Teachers are going to see a renewed commitment in 2024 and it will be obvious, we are very excited about what is to come this festival season.

Everyone here at Inspire Arts & Music and the Great East Music Festivals has been busy preparing for an amazing 2024 festival season, and now it is your time to join! It all starts with registration which is now open! To view our festival dates, entertainment options, and register your ensembles, please click here.

If you have questions, please reach out to our team at info@greateastmusicfestivals.org. We thank you once again for choosing Great East Music Festivals and look forward to seeing your students on the stage again soon!
